Mission Statement: Fashion is one of the purest expressions of who we are as individuals and has the ability to convey a sense of ourselves to the world without speaking a word. It was my goal to capture those expressions and fashion before the inevitable redefining of our notion of cool tomorrow… 

Richard Avedon’s love for fashion, portraits and adventure of taking the studio to the subject inspired this body of work and tribute to be. 

Location: Fubar Downtown - 658 Central Ave, St. Petersburg, FL 33701

Overview: Every first Friday from January 2010 – March 2014; three lights and a white seamless went up in front of the Fubar Downtown. The Fubar itself has patrons like no other in the form of fashion and hygiene, add in a dash of Central Avenue’s 600 Blocks art and music scene, liquid courage and essentially you have well balanced mix of love and anarchy. While the images were taken outside the previous months images were hung in a large print, rough cut, taped to the walls and mirrors manor. Built as a time capsule project the series full release will come sometime beyond 2030, that is if we are still printing images…
